Locations and Activities:

  • Coronado Heights:
    • Start your evening with dinner in Lindsborg.
    • Take a shuttle to the top of Coronado Heights for a spectacular starry night sky viewing.
    • Access to Cosmosphere telescopes is limited to those with shuttle-ride wristbands to ensure safe and optimal planetary viewing.
  • Heritage Square:
  • Sundstrom Conference Center:
    • Arts and crafts projects for children provided by the Lindsborg Arts Council.
    • Presentations by Jim Richardson at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM, lasting 30-45 minutes each.

Shuttle Information

Shuttle Schedule:

  • Shuttle rides to Coronado Heights will depart every 30 minutes, starting at 6:00 PM and ending at 9:00 PM.
  • Shuttles will be located at the public parking lot on the corner of 126 S. Main Street.

Shuttle-Ride Wristbands:

  • Wristbands can be collected at 5:00 PM on the night of the event at the Sundstrom Conference Center‘s north lobby.
  • Reservations are required for shuttle rides.

Based on his National Geographic cover story, this lecture will explore the importance of preserving our night skies.
