About the Performers
Tessan-Maria Lehmussaari (Soprano)
Tessan-Maria Lehmussaari, a Swedish-Finnish soprano, won the prestigious Jenny Lind Scholarship in 2020, awarded by the Royal Swedish Musical Academy and Folkets Hus & Parker in Sweden. Born in Stockholm in 1994, her passion for opera began at age eleven when she sang in the children’s choir at the Royal Swedish Opera. She studied at the Opera Studio in Härnösand and graduated from the Stockholm University College of Opera in June 2019. Her opera repertoire includes roles such as Adele from Die Fledermaus by J. Strauss and Giulietta from I Capuleti e i Montecchi by V. Bellini. She has performed works like Bach’s Magnificat, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater as a concert singer.
Silja Levander (Pianist)
Silja Levander, originally from Turku, Finland, is a versatile pianist and designer based in Stockholm. She holds a Master’s Degree from the Royal Music Academy of Stockholm. Levander’s dual passions for designing clothes and playing the piano have shaped her professional career.
Martin Lissel (Baritone)
Martin Lissel, a lyrical baritone and composer, trained at the Academy of Opera in Stockholm and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. He has performed at prestigious venues such as the Royal Opera, Norrlandsoperan, and Läckö Castle. Lissel has also collaborated with the Hamburger Symphoniker, Bundesjugendballett Hamburg, and the Nordic Chamber Orchestra.
